Mudumalai

We had been to Mudumalai on 26th of Jan this year. This was the best gift from Sri and it was made sweeter by Varsha and Madhukar.

This was my first trip with my baby,who enjoyed a lot during this trip. We started on the morning of the 26th to Mudumalai. On the way we had our breakfast at Kadumane on Mysore road, lunch at Nanjangud and reached Mudumalai in the afternoon.

The wilderness is the place where we stepped in and had fun in the forest home stay for the next two days. That evening we paid a short visit to Theppakadu. While my baby was sleeping, Sri took photos of  these White-cheeked Barbet and Common Kingfisher.

Next day, My son, Varsha and  myself did birding in the homestay, while Madhukar and Sri took a trek into the Mudumalai forest and enjoyed their morning birding.

That evening we went to Theppakadu, where we took a private safari. My baby was sleeping, suddenly he got up as the safari jeep was making a loud noise. On the safari, we saw lots and lots of peacocks,deers,two huge Bisons, a Sambhar deer and wild boars.

Next day we did birding in the home stay itself which produced some excellent results.While Sri was taking care of  baby , I did birding where I shot a few photos and my baby enjoyed in the field a lot. He
enjoyed so much that it became very difficult for Sri to handle him.

His pants were totally muddy and he did not want to come out from that place. After having our breakfast at the home stay we packed our luggage and headed back to Mysore.

On the way to Mysore We had a short break at Bandipur to purchase few things at a souvenir shop.

Later we headed back to Mysore, and then it was full time pass at Hotel Paradise. My baby enjoyed the evening snack with puttu idlis. While baby was sleeping we had a small photo session. Later when my son woke up we continued the photo session with him.

On the way to Bangalore we met with a small accident and ended up coming home late.
